Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Spark Forager at Prism Wave, located in Tiruchirappalli. The Spark Forager will be responsible for understanding and implementing Spark-based data processing applications. The role involves working closely with data engineers and other stakeholders to map and process raw data, optimize data workflow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth running of data systems. The candidate will also be responsible for continuously improving and maintaining data processing pipelines, providing insights through data analysis, and collaborating with team members to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Apache Spark framework and related big data technologies
• Strong background in data processing, data mapping, and data workflow optimization
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving data processing issues
• Experience in working with data engineers and other technical stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Prior experience in big data projects is a plus
