Position Title: Video Editing

Location: Bangalore/ Chennai

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Video Editing Intern to support our content development efforts by producing high-quality, short-form video content tailored for professional and social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn and Instagram. This role requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt content for varying audience expectations across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce short-form video content (15 to 90 seconds) suitable for LinkedIn and Instagram, including reels, stories, and promotional posts.
  • Transform long-form video assets (e.g., webinars, interviews, podcasts) into concise, impactful clips optimized for social engagement.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, brand elements, and royalty-free audio to enhance video effectiveness and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with content strategists and designers to ensure video outputs align with brand guidelines, visual identity, and communication goals.
  • Maintain an organized video asset library and meet defined deadlines for content delivery.
  • Stay abreast of evolving trends, best practices, and platform-specific video formats to inform creative direction and optimization.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Media Studies, Visual Communication, Film Production, or a related discipline.
  • Foundational to intermediate proficiency in industry-standard video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut).
  • Demonstrated ability to edit videos for diverse audiences, preferably with prior experience in social media content creation.
  • Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual design suited for professional and social platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is highly desirable
