Restaurant Accountant

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Accountant is responsible for managing the restaurant's financial records, vendor accounts, payroll processing, and tax compliance. This role ensures cost efficiency and supports management in financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily sales, purchases, and expenses in accounting software.
• Manage vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Handle payroll, gratuities, and staff expense reimbursements.
• Maintain ledgers, P&L statements, and balance sheets.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and statutory tax filings.
• Conduct stock audits and control food & beverage costs.
• Support management with budgets, forecasting, and MIS reports.
• Assist in financial audits and liaise with external auditors.

Mandatory Skillset & Requirements:

• B.Com / M.Com qualification.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting practices.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of GST/TDS and tax filing.
• Prior experience in restaurant/hospitality industry accounting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in F&B industry accounts.
• Knowledge of restaurant POS integration with accounting.

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
