Key Responsibilities

1. Application Design & Development

  • Develop efficient, reusable, and testable code using NodeJS, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Redis, AWS, and JavaScript.
  • Design and implement high-availability, low-latency, performant applications.
  • Generate documentation using Swagger and maintain API records.
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
  • Take ownership of full-stack development and deployment.

2. Code Optimization & Version Control

  • Write clean, optimized, and well-documented code.
  • Use Git/GitHub/Bitbucket/GitLab for version control.
  • Conduct code cleanup and optimization to improve performance and resource utilization.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Implement unit testing using Mocha & Chai.JS, Jasmine.JS, and Cypress.JS.
  • Conduct sanity checks across devices for compatibility.
  • Promote test-driven development with comprehensive test cases.

4. Deployment & Monitoring

  • Deploy and monitor applications on Firebase, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Use crash analytics and PM2 tools for performance monitoring and error handling.
  • Ensure application security, data protection, and minimal downtime.

5. Reporting & Collaboration

  • Generate MIS reports for management.
  • Collaborate across teams for effective project execution.
  • Manage tasks efficiently and ensure timely delivery.

  • Faster project deployment timelines.
  • High code review satisfaction with minimal defects.
  • Improved server response times and application scalability.
  • Increased test coverage and bug resolution pre-deployment.
  • Efficient incident management post-deployment.

Job Specifications

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in NodeJS and Express framework (additional frameworks a plus).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Experience with Elastic Search, MongoDB, Redis, and MySQL.
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming, server-side templating, and multi-database integration.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform development (mobile vs. desktop).
  • Hands-on experience with VCS tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
  • Exposure to AWS/GCP/Kubernetes preferred.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
  • Strong background in automated unit test practices and design methodologies.
