Key Responsibilities

Clinical (Optometrist Duties)

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including vision tests and ocular health assessments.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and manage refractive errors.
  • Detect and manage common eye conditions and refer patients to specialists when required.
  • Educate patients about proper eye care, contact lens usage, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

Community Coordination Duties

  • Plan, organize, and execute community eye health awareness programs and screening camps.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with schools, NGOs, healthcare providers, and local communities.
  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and volunteer support for outreach events.
  • Prepare reports, collect data, and share outcomes of community initiatives with management.
  • Promote eye health education through workshops, social media campaigns, and local events.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Optometry from a recognized institution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in community health programs or outreach (preferred).
  • Good organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, data management tools).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
