Role Description

We are seeking a Python Developer & Machine Learning Intern to support backend development and help us explore intelligent features for our platform. This role involves building RESTful APIs using FastAPI, maintaining backend services, and working on early-stage analytics and generative AI (LLM) use cases. You'll contribute to tools that empower community owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI
  • Design and test RESTful APIs to support frontend and partner integrations
  • Work on analytics pipelines to derive insights from event and social data
  • Assist in using LLMs (e.g., OpenAI) to auto-generate descriptions, summaries, or tags for events
  • Collaborate with the team to explore social media analytics for community growth
  • Help build scalable, maintainable, and secure backend architecture
  • Contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python and understanding of backend development
  • Experience with FastAPI or Flask/Django
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP methods
  • Interest or experience in LLMs, NLP tools, or prompt engineering
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis using libraries like pandas or NumPy
  • Understanding of Git, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and third-party API integration
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-moving team
  • Good communication skills and a self-starter attitude
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
