About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Azure Data Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in data engineering, Microsoft Fabric, and modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, leading complex data integration projects, and working with distributed computing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and maintain enterprise-scale data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Lead and guide teams in using Databricks with Scala, PySpark, and PySQL for large-scale data processing.
  • Build, optimize, and review notebooks for data integration, transformation, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to drive data-driveninitiatives.
  • Ensure performance tuning, scalability, and data quality across distributed platforms.
  • Implement best practices in data governance, security, and monitoring.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 8+ years in Azure ecosystem.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Advanced proficiency in Scala, PySpark, and PySQL for big data processing.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
  • Solid knowledge of Data Lakehouse Architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing end-to-end data engineering solutions.
