Role Overview

As a Lead SDET (IC role), you'll be a hands-on automation expert driving quality across large-scale web, API, and mobile products. You'll design frameworks, build scalable automation, and mentor teammates on best practices—while staying deeply technical yourself.

What You'll Do

  • Architect and maintain robust automation frameworks (UI, API, Mobile).
  • Develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium, Rest Assured, JMeter, Appium.
  • Partner with developers and product teams to embed quality early in the SDLC.
  • Conduct performance/load testing and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Share knowledge and mentor peers on coding standards, automation practices, and tools.
  • Champion innovation in test strategy, monitoring, and reliability engineering.

What We're Looking For

  • 6–9 years in test automation / SDET roles.
  • Strong coding skills in Java, Python, or C#.
  • Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured/Postman, JMeter, Appium.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Maven, etc.) and cloud (AWS).
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving mindset; able to mentor without direct reporting lines.
