Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in an individual capacity. As our sole hardware expert, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing our RFID reader circuits, particularly for lower frequencies. You will also lead the introduction of new hardware product lines, such as QR code readers, ensuring seamless integration with our existing software solutions. This is a unique opportunity to own the entire hardware design lifecycle from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analog Circuit Design: Design and develop robust analog circuits for RFID readers, specifically focusing on lower frequency applications, to enhance performance and reliability.
  • New Product Development: Spearhead the hardware design and development of innovative new product lines, including QR code readers, ensuring they meet market demands and technical specifications.
  • Schematic & PCB Design: Create detailed electronic schematics and manage comprehensive PCB layout design for all hardware products, ensuring optimal performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Build and test prototypes, debug circuits, and validate designs to ensure they meet functional requirements and quality standards.
  • Component Selection: Research and select appropriate electronic components, considering factors like performance, availability, cost, and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the software team to ensure seamless hardware-software integration and functionality.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of design specifications, test procedures, and production files.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in analog circuit design, specifically with a focus on RFID systems or similar RF applications.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout design using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, datasheets, and best practices for circuit design and debugging.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have Skills

  • Knowledge or experience with firmware development (Embedded C, RTOS) would be a significant advantage, allowing you to contribute to the full stack of our hardware solutions.

Work Location

This is a work-from-office position based in Bavdhan, Pune.
