We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end risk and control agenda for the CIB – GTS Technology Value Stream.
  • Own and manage the delivery of technology risk projects and control uplift programs from inception to completion.
  • Partner with technology owners and business leads to identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks and control deficiencies.
  • Drive the remediation of identified issues and action plans, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and timely closure.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal/external audits and regulatory exams, managing fieldwork and evidence collection.
  • Provide expert advice on secure application development practices and support critical remediation programs.
  • Develop and present risk status reports, management information (MI), and control effectiveness metrics to stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Champion process automation and data accuracy initiatives across enterprise risk management systems like JIRA.
  • Collaborate with central CCO, Cyber Security, and other risk functions to ensure alignment with firm-wide policies and standards.
  • Evaluate and challenge control implementation decisions to ensure they are robust, effective, and appropriate for the risk.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in IT, with a significant focus on Technology Risk, Controls, or Cyber Security.
  • Proven experience managing technology risk and control-related projects within a large enterprise.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, application architecture, and secure development lifecycles, preferably within the banking domain.
  • Hands-on experience with risk management tools and processes (e.g., GRC platforms).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Macros/VBA), JIRA, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC are highly desirable.
  • A strong technical aptitude with a passion for driving automation and process improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functional and geographical borders.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and Agile software delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban).
