Job Summary:

For anyone who is interested in 80% learning and 20% doing activities then, we're looking for a motivated and disciplined Backend Developer Intern with a keen interest in Golang (Go) development. The role provides a hands-on opportunity to work on real-world backend systems, APIs, and secure data workflows. You'll gain exposure to production-grade code, optimization, and debugging practices under the mentorship of experienced developers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Learning & Development:

• Undergo structured onboarding to understand Securelytix's backend architecture, data vault framework, and API lifecycle.
• Learn to build RESTful and GRPC APIs using Golang frameworks such as Gin and Fiber.
• Gain hands-on experience with Go modules, dependency management, and project structuring.
• Explore and translate data security, tokenization, and privacy-by-design concepts used in production.

2. Coding & Implementation:

• Write clean, modular, and reusable Go code aligned with team coding standards.
• Assist in developing API endpoints, middleware, and microservices that interact with databases and third-party services.
• Implement and test backend logic for CRUD operations, authentication flows, and API responses.
• Practice writing unit tests, integration tests, and understanding code coverage.

3. Debugging & Optimization:

• Identify and fix minor bugs under supervision, learning structured debugging practices.
• Profile and optimize code for performance (memory management, concurrency, goroutines, channels).
• Analyze logs and API responses to troubleshoot real-time issues in development environments.

4. Collaboration & Review:

• Participate in daily standups, sprint discussions, and internal review sessions.
• Work closely with mentors and team members to understand design decisions and trade-offs.
• Contribute to documentation, readme updates, and internal technical notes for better project maintainability.

5. Exposure to Tools & Ecosystem:

• Learn to work with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Learn & get exposure to Docker, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, and API testing tools like Postman or Curl.
• Understand CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and staging environments (introductory level).

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Proactively seek feedback and improve code quality with every sprint.
• Engage in self-learning tasks- reading Golang documentation, exploring Go forums, and applying learnings in real tasks.
• Support internal testing and contribute to internal proof-of-concept modules or side projects.

Expectations:

• Strong theoretical understanding of programming fundamentals (e.g., functional, object-oriented concepts).
• Good logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively search, read documentation, and troubleshoot independently.
• Teachable, disciplined, and sincere approach to learning and task execution.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, or distributed systems is a plus (not mandatory).

• Stipend: As per company policy (performance-based incentives may apply).
