About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled
ASIC (RTL Design) Engineer – Lead
with a proven track record in digital design and implementation. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and hands-on experience in ASIC development from RTL to tapeout. You will be responsible for leading block-level design, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality silicon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead block-level
    RTL design and micro-architecture development
    .
  • Collaborate with verification, synthesis, and physical design teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Drive
    timing closure, area, power, and performance optimization
    .
  • Contribute to
    design reviews, documentation, and coding best practices
    .
  • Support
    functional verification
    , debug, and issue resolution across the design flow.
  • Mentor and guide a team of junior engineers in technical execution.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in
    ASIC RTL design
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    Verilog/SystemVerilog
    and exposure to VHDL.
  • Experience with
    EDA tools
    for simulation, synthesis, lint, CDC, and STA.
  • Solid understanding of
    SoC/ASIC architecture, design methodologies, and flows
    .
  • Exposure to
    low-power design techniques
    and constraints.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in
    IP/SoC integration
    .
  • Familiarity with
    verification methodologies (UVM, etc.)
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    scripting languages (Perl, Tcl, Python, etc.)
    for automation.
  • Prior experience in leading small design teams is a plus.
