Job Summary

The Instructional Designer will be an integral member of our on-site team (Mumbai), responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of engaging and effective learning experiences. This role requires the application of tested instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and modern learning technologies to create content for various delivery modalities, including instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning modules, and blended solutions. The ability to collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders in an office environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- itate in-person design sessions, content reviews, and prototype testing with project teams.Serve
- as an internal expert and consultant on adult learning best practices and instructional strategies for the on-site team.

Design and develop assessment instruments to measure learner performance and course effectiveness.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, defining project scope, establishing timelines, and ensuring timely delivery of all assigned projects.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and course content files.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related field. [Master's degree preferred, if applicable].
  • Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in an Instructional Designer, Training Specialist, or similar role.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Solid proficiency in at least one industry-standard e-learning authoring tool (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace tools.

Instructional Expertise:

Strong knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.

Demonstrated ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.

Soft Skills (Crucial for On-site):

  • Excellent interpersonal and in-person communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
