The platform is designed to support all of our analytics, data science, and data applications. You will work in a highly collaborative environment building next-generation platforms and services.Job DescriptionWhat you would do:Design, develop and run cloud-native data platform and analytics SaaS servicesHands-on coding > 90% of the timeDesign and build largescale real-time stream processing systemsDesign, develop and run microservices and analytics SaaS solutionsOwn Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) for your servicesOwn scalability, availability, and data security for your servicesTriage & resolve code defectsMaintain secure code and resolve app security findingsWhat You Would Need To SucceedMinimum 2+ years of required work experienceExcellent programming skills in JavaStrong experience with Java, Spring boot. Microservices, multithreading and AWS (or any public cloud)Deep understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, and performance optimization techniquesExposure to modern frontend technologies like Angular or Working knowledge with Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, and Terraform is a plus.Experience with relational databases, redshift, etc.Understanding of distributed systems concepts and principles (consistency and availability, liveness and safety, durability, reliability, fault-tolerance, consensus algorithms)Ability to work in an agile fast-paced environmentAbout GuidewireGuidewire is the platform P&C insurers trust to engage, innovate, and grow efficiently.
