We are looking for  Commissioning Engineer- Rolling Stock

We are currently looking for Commissioning Engineer- Rolling Stock (f/m/d) at our Project in Chittranjan. Commissioning Engineer- Rolling Stock will report to Head of Warranty Management.

The job responsibilities of the Commissioning Engineer- Rolling Stock include (but not limited to)

  • Lead commissioning activities for rolling stock projects with Indian Railways.
  • Manage planning, execution, and delivery of electrical components.
  • Understands all the contractual requirements and help in requirement management from Customer perspective and assist in engineering, manufacturing, testing and installation phases after supports in series supply.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Providing training and support to maintenance and operational teams on new systems
  • Prepare and present in monthly reviews to Local Management about commissioning progress.
  • making improvements to, and offering advice about, operational procedures
  • Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults.
  • Enable cross functional teams for process & product quality improvement.
  • Address warranty issues related to above components and complaint resolution.
  • Assist the bid team in submitting successful bids.
  • Management of risks and opportunities in assigned package and lessons learnt thereof.
  • Adhere to all company policies & procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

DesiredSkills:
- Graduate in Electrical Engineering
- Should have at least 8-10 years experience in rolling stock domain. Experience in Commissioning, Technical Competence and Leading People.
- Sound knowledge of Electrical and/or Mechanical Components of Rolling stock
- Should be proficient in English and Hindi
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite and administrative applications
- Willingness to Travel to Customer Sites up to 20%.
