- 1. Job Summary:We are seeking a C2 Level skilled HVR Administrator to join our team for a critical data migration project at GE Vernova. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the migration of data from GE's OneStream ERP system to a new data lake using HVR (High Volume Replication). This role involves the initial installation and configuration of HVR on a new instance, ensuring seamless data replication and integration. 2.Key Responsibilities:HVR Installation and Configuration:Install and configure HVR on the new instance. Set up HVR hub, channels, and locations for data replication. Data Migration:Plan and execute the migration of data from OneStream ERP to the new data lake. Monitor and troubleshoot data replication processes to ensure data integrity and consistency. System Management:Maintain and optimize HVR configurations for performance and reliability. Implement and manage Change Data Capture (CDC) processes. Collaboration:Work closely with the Data Migration Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. Provide technical support and training to team members on HVR functionalities. Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for HVR setup, configurations, and procedures. Develop and update data migration plans and reports. 3.Qualifications:Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience:Proven experience with HVR or similar data replication tools. Experience in data migration projects, particularly involving ERP systems. Familiarity with OneStream ERP is a plus. Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of HVR architecture and components. Proficiency in SQL and database management. Understanding of data lake architectures and cloud storage solutions. Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality. 4.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with AWS cloud platforms and their data storage services.
