Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and result-driven CFO to lead the financial operations, governance, and capital management of a fast-growing renewable energy business. The role demands strong expertise in project finance, fundraising, IPO-readiness, and investor relations within the Power/Renewable Energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Financial Leadership

  • Develop scalable financial systems, governance frameworks, and reporting processes.
  • Lead strategic planning, capital structuring, and fundraising for business expansion.
  • Provide financial insights to the CEO and Board for investment and M&A decisions.
  • Drive IPO-readiness, corporate governance, and compliance initiatives.

Budgeting & Performance

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and business planning for projects and SPVs.
  • Implement KPI-driven dashboards and financial analytics for performance tracking.
  • Drive cost optimization, capital efficiency, and risk mitigation.

Fundraising, Treasury & Investor Relations

  • Manage end-to-end fundraising through equity, debt, and structured instruments.
  • Build strong investor relations with PE/VC funds and institutional investors.
  • Handle treasury operations, cash flow management, and investment strategies.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with IND-AS/IFRS, SEBI, MCA, RBI, GST, FEMA norms.
  • Lead audits, statutory reporting, and ERP/AI-based financial systems.
  • Manage tax planning, transfer pricing, and internal controls.

Governance & Risk Management

  • Strengthen internal control systems, audit mechanisms, and governance policies.
  • Support Board and Audit Committee on risk and compliance oversight.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong command over project finance, financial modeling, and capital structuring.
  • Expertise in fundraising (equity/debt), IPO process, and investor relations.
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy project economics, PPAs, and tariff structures.
  • Knowledge of taxation, SEBI & RBI regulations, and corporate governance.
  • Proficiency in ERP, financial automation, and data analytics tools.

Leadership Attributes:

  • Strategic advisor to CEO & Board.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor high-performing finance teams.

Qualification & Experience

  • CA mandatory; MBA (Finance) / LLB preferred.
  • 2025 years of finance leadership experience, with 5–7 years as CFO / Head of Finance in Power or Renewable Energy sector.
  • Proven track record in project finance, debt syndication, IPO preparation, and investor management.
