We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Senior Developer / Lead – Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
to join our IT team in Bangalore. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining data pipelines and cloud solutions that power business insights and operations across the company. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and contribute to building scalable and efficient data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and enhance jobs in Google Cloud Platform, using Java, Python, and SQL
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Dataflow, Dataproc, and related GCP tools to load data from GCS to BigQuery
  • Translate blueprint documents into technical specifications and implement corresponding GCP configurations
  • Collaborate with global architects and technical teams to define cloud-based data solutions
  • Conduct requirement-gathering meetings with business stakeholders and translate them into functional solutions
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and resolve issues across development and QA environments
  • Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle
  • Support onboarding and knowledge transfer for third-party service providers
  • Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge of GCP ecosystem

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 4-12 years of experience as a DB/SQL Developer or Java/Python Developer with a strong SQL background
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries with advanced joins and data transformations

  • Solid hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and its key services:

  • BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, Composer ( Air flow), Data Fusion

  • Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python for pipeline development

  • Leading experience mandatory for Leads.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Good understanding of Business Intelligence, dashboarding, and preferably Data Studio
  • Ability to convert business needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global team
  • Quick learner with a strong desire to master GCP technologies
