Sleepy Owl Coffee is a dynamic and rapidly growing coffee brand redefining India//'s coffee

culture. We seek a leader in operations to lead end-to-end supply chain operations,

integrating warehouse management, SNOP processes, procurement coordination, and

cross-functional strategy execution.

Role Overview

The Leader in Operations will drive operational excellence across procurement, production

planning, inventory management, and warehouse operations. This strategic role requires

expertise in SNOP processes, demand forecasting, and supplier coordination to optimize

costs and ensure seamless material flow.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

Strategic Planning & SNOP Management

  • Lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SNOP) process to align production,

procurement, and distribution with demand forecasts.

  • Develop 6-month rolling operational plans with scenario analysis for raw/packaging

material requirements.

  • Optimize inventory levels using ABC/XYZ classification to maintain 98% SKU availability

while reducing carrying costs.

Procurement Coordination

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials (coffee beans, filters) and packaging

(cans, boxes) with 100% production line availability.

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve 5-7% annual cost savings while meeting

quality standards (FSSAI compliance).

  • Implement vendor scorecards tracking OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery (95%), quality

compliance (1% rejects), and cost competitiveness.

Warehouse & Inventory Control

  • Oversaw 3PL operations with 0.5% inventory variance through weekly cycle counts and

real-time WMS updates.

  • Reduce warehouse handling costs by 10% via Lean layout optimization and automated

reorder triggers.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Chair weekly SNOP meetings with Sales, Finance, and Procurement to align production

schedules with market demand (±5% accuracy).

  • Coordinate new product launches by ensuring raw material readiness 4 weeks pre-launch

date.

Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain 100% compliance with FSSAI storage guidelines and OSHA safety protocols across

all facilities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • SNOP Process Adherence: Achieve 98% alignment between forecasted vs actual

production volumes.

  • Raw Material Availability: Maintain 2% production downtime due to material shortages.
  • Procurement Cost Savings: Deliver 7-10% YOY savings through strategic sourcing.
  • Inventory Turnover Ratio: Improve to 8 turns/year through demand-driven

replenishment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA/PGDM in Operations Management or Supply Chain (preferred)
  • 8+ years experience managing SNOP processes in FMCG, with 3+ years in procurement

roles

  • Certification in APICS CPIM or IBF Demand Planning
  • Advanced Excel/ERP skills (SAP MM module, Kinaxis RapidResponse)
  • Proven success in vendor development and contract negotiations
