Job Description – Structural Engineer (Offshore Structures)

Position Title: Structural Engineer Experience Required: years Location: Cochin/Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform structural analysis and design of offshore jacket structures, fixed platform, MODU and MOPU in compliance with international codes and standards.

· Develop detailed engineering calculations, reports, and design deliverables for offshore projects.

· Conduct structural modelling, finite element analysis (FEA), and design validation using SACS and other FEA tools.

· Support concept, FEED, and detailed engineering phases of offshore projects.

· Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) to ensure design integrity and alignment.

· Review vendor documents, drawings, and engineering deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

· 8–12 years of proven experience in offshore structural engineering, with focus on jacket structures.

· Proficiency in SACS and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

· Strong knowledge of offshore engineering codes and standards (API, ISO, DNV, AISC)

· Hands-on experience in load-out, transportation, and installation engineering is an advantage.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

Preferred Experience:

· Previous experience with offshore engineering consultants or EPC/EPCM contractors.

· Exposure to Greenfield and Brownfield offshore projects.

· Familiarity with digital tools for offshore engineering workflows.
