Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Akola. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement of materials and services required for various construction projects. Daily tasks include vendor management, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of materials, evaluating supplier performance, and maintaining inventory levels. The role will also involve collaboration with project managers and other departments to ensure the seamless execution of projects. This role has handsome renumeration.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience in vendor management and supplier evaluation
• Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
