API Technical Support Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced API Technical Support Executive who will act as the primary point of contact for our business clients and their development teams. The role involves guiding clients in integrating and consuming our APIs effectively, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical inclination, hands-on experience with APIs, and exposure to the broking domain. This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of technical support for clients integrating our APIs.
  • Work closely with client developers to assist in API consumption and integration.
  • Troubleshoot API request/response issues, including authentication, data mapping, and error handling.
  • Provide detailed guidance on API documentation, best practices, and implementation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our API ecosystem and continuously update clients on new features or changes.
  • Ensure timely resolution of client queries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of experience in API support, technical client servicing, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
  • Ability to analyze and debug API request/response flows using tools like Postman, cURL, or similar.
  • Exposure to the broking domain or financial services industry.
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with API gateways or integration platforms.
  • Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
  • Knowledge of trading platforms, order management systems, or brokerage workflows.
