About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI + PowerShell Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating insightful data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, combined with the automation capabilities of PowerShell. This role will support various business functions by transforming raw data into actionable insights and streamlining processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually compelling dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power BI based on business requirements.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate data integration processes, report generation, and various Power BI administrative tasks.
• Collaborate closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver customized Power BI solutions.
• Optimize Power BI data models and datasets for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
• Use PowerShell to manage Power BI workspaces, refresh datasets, and handle permissions and access configurations efficiently.
• Develop reusable scripts and templates for automating repetitive tasks within Power BI, ensuring efficient data handling and reporting.
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Stay updated with the latest features and capabilities of Power BI and PowerShell to drive continuous improvements and innovations in data delivery.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and PowerShell scripting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, reliable BI solutions.
• Strong proficiency in creating complex Power BI dashboards, data visualizations, and DAX calculations.
• Solid experience with PowerShell scripting, including automating tasks, data processing, and report management.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Experience with integrating Power BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, and other databases.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Power BI Service and Power BI Premium features, including Power BI administration.
• Experience with other BI or automation tools is a plus (e.g., Tableau, SSIS).
• Knowledge of data security and data governance best practices in Power BI.
• Experience with Azure or cloud-based data solutions is a plus.
