Workday Integration & Reporting Consultant technical resource (experience 6-8 years) will design, develop, and support both integrations and reporting solutions within the Workday HCM ecosystem. The consultant will work closely with HR, IT and business teams to ensure seamless system connectivity and provide actionable insights through advanced reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities:(Up to 10, Avoid repetition)

Integration

  • Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Workday Web Services.
  • Manage the integrations lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, UAT, and production deployment.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and support integrations in production environments.
  • Collaborate with internal IT and third-party vendors for system-to-system integrations (e.g., payroll, benefits, finance, recruiting).
  • Ensure integrations adhere to security, compliance, and data governance standards.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and optimize Workday reports (simple, advanced, composite, matrix, and trending reports).
  • Create and manage calculated fields and custom data sources for reporting needs.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to translate reporting requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance in reporting outputs.

Key skills/knowledge/experience: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition)

  • 6+ years if hands-on experience in Workday HCM integrations and reporting
  • Strong expertise in Workday Studi, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, Cloud Connect
  • Good knowledge of Workday Security, Business Process Framework and Data Sources.
  • Knowledge of HR analytics, compliance, and workforce planning reporting best practices.
  • Ability to lead workshops, requirement sessions, and user training.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and ability to deliver in iterative cycles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to have:

  • Experience in Workday Prism analytics or similar data visualization tool
  • Background HR systems transformation projects
