Job Description:

This role belongs to SAP Supply chain Planning team at HP, Bangalore where we are scaling existing capabilities. We architect, design and implement solutions on SAP IBP platform (Demand / Supply & Response / Inventory optimization) and SAP S4 HANA (Advanced ATP) to support the needs of internal HP's supply chain business worldwide.

On the engagement you will:  

• Collaborate with business partners and gather business requirements.
• Lead a broad range of complex supply chain processes, to enable and deploy standard SAP S4 advanced Available To Promise capabilities for a large global business unit.
• Independently execute complex demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
• Analyze the business requirements to design a robust solution.
• Prepare functional and technical design specifications.
• Engage with IT architects to ensure your design aligns to architecture principles.
• Develop / configure and solution the design.
• Develop test scenarios and test the solution.
• Be fully engaged thru various testing cycles and implementation of the final solution.
• Potentially travel as required.

HOW DO WE PICTURE YOU:

• Hold an Engineering background from an institute of repute.
• Technical and functional experience of 8-10 years on S4 HANA, specifically with Advanced ATP (available to promise) capabilities on version 2023 or higher.
• Able to configure and optimize SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP) functionalities within S/4HANA, including product availability checks (PAC / PAL), alternative based confirmations (ABC), backorder processing (BOP), allocation management, supply protection etc. Implementation experience of 5-6 years is a must.
• Knowledge of end-to-end order fulfillment processes including order to cash, material management etc.
• Strong re-engineering skills including troubleshooting issues, enhancing system capabilities, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Strong expertise in S/4HANA AATP modules, excellent problem-solving skills, and prior experience with SAP implementations are essential. Those with only support background should not apply.
• Working knowledge of SAP ABAP with hands-on experience is a must.
• Knowledge of API's – added advantage.
• Understanding of modern software development methodologies including Agile and SAFe practices.
• SAP certifications would be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across a diversified global team.
• Exposure to working in a global multi-cultural environment.
• Self-driven, motivated individual with a passion for success.
• Extremely good articulation and communication skills.
