Eletrician

Experience: 1–3 years (Hospital experience preferred)

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the hospital.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical equipment, wiring, lighting, UPS systems, and control panels.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical areas such as ICU, OT and labs.
• Monitor and maintain generators, transformers, HT/LT panels, and distribution boards.
• Attend electrical breakdowns promptly and rectify faults efficiently.
• Maintain hospital equipment such as medical outlets, patient room lighting, and emergency power systems.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Assist in electrical safety audits and follow hospital safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with biomedical, maintenance, and housekeeping teams for timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, standards, and hospital protocols.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults quickly.
• Understanding of hospital-critical power supply requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and attend emergency calls.
