Experience: 1–3 years (Hospital experience preferred)
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the hospital.
- Inspect and troubleshoot electrical equipment, wiring, lighting, UPS systems, and control panels.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical areas such as ICU, OT and labs.
- Monitor and maintain generators, transformers, HT/LT panels, and distribution boards.
- Attend electrical breakdowns promptly and rectify faults efficiently.
- Maintain hospital equipment such as medical outlets, patient room lighting, and emergency power systems.
- Support preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
- Assist in electrical safety audits and follow hospital safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with biomedical, maintenance, and housekeeping teams for timely repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, standards, and hospital protocols.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults quickly.
- Understanding of hospital-critical power supply requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and attend emergency calls.
