Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with more than 2 years of relevant experience to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and solutions that enhance MIT Academy's educational and training platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, and experience with data processing and model optimization in real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and deploy machine learning models to solve educational and business challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and create scalable ML pipelines.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis to extract meaningful insights.
- Train, test, and validate models to ensure robustness, accuracy, and fairness.
- Optimize algorithms for performance and scalability using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Integrate ML solutions into existing platforms such as learning management systems and recommendation engines.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and suggest improvements.
- Document workflows, model architectures, and evaluation metrics to support reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, or a related field.
- More than 2 years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or AI development.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Keras.
- Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning architectures.
- Experience in data processing, model evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with recommendation systems, computer vision, NLP, or reinforcement learning.
- Published research papers or participation in AI competitions like Kaggle.
- Knowledge of big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop.
