What you will be doing at Evalueserve

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Venture Capital Analyst to support our clients investment team with deal-sourcing, research, due diligence, and portfolio management activities. The analyst will work closely with onshore investment professionals, providing high-quality insights, analysis, and execution support to strengthen decision-making across the investment lifecycle.

  1. Deal Sourcing & Market Research

  2. Conduct thematic research on emerging sectors, technologies, and startup ecosystems.

  3. Track market trends, competitor landscapes, and disruptive innovations.

  4. Build and maintain databases of potential startups, accelerators, and deal flow sources.

  5. Due Diligence Support

  6. Collect and analyze company financials, operating metrics, and performance benchmarks.

  7. Support commercial, financial, and operational due diligence.

  8. Prepare diligence memos, company profiles, and competitive benchmarking analysis.

  9. Investment Analysis

  10. Build and maintain financial models for early-stage companies (revenue projections, unit economics, cash burn, runway analysis).

  11. Support valuation analysis using comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and industry multiples.

  12. Assist in the preparation of Investment Committee materials and pitch decks.

  13. Portfolio Monitoring

  14. Track portfolio company KPIs, fundraising milestones, and sector developments.

  15. Prepare quarterly portfolio monitoring reports and dashboards.

  16. Support scenario modeling and portfolio-level performance analytics.

  17. Investor Relations & Internal Support

  18. Assist with Limited Partner (LP) reporting and fundraising materials.

  19. Maintain data rooms, internal knowledge repositories, and CRM systems.
  20. Support ad-hoc requests from investment teams.

What were looking for

  • 2–5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, consulting, or startup ecosystem
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Excellent research and analytical skills; ability to distill large data into insights
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases such as Factset, CapIQ, Bloomberg, Pitchbook
  • Post-Graduate preferably MBA (specialization finance & econometrics)/CFA/CA
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work across time zones and deliver under tight deadlines
