We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Head to lead our power cable

manufacturing operations, overseeing both low and high-tension cable production.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cable manufacturing processes, quality control, and operational excellence. Will be responsible for driving operational efficiency,

ensuring product quality, and meeting production targets while adhering to safety and

environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:


• Develop and implement the plant's strategic plan, aligning with the overall company

objectives.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and

reduce costs.


• Foster a culture of innovation and problem-solving to enhance operational efficiency.

Operational Excellence:


• Oversee all aspects of production, including planning, scheduling, and execution.


• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational

performance.


• Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols.


• Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimize resource utilization.

Team Management:


• Lead and motivate a diverse team of production, engineering, and quality control

personnel.


• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to build a high-performing team.


• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and

employee engagement.

Quality Assurance:


• Implement robust quality control systems to ensure product conformance to

specifications.


• Conduct regular quality audits and take corrective actions to address any issues.


• Collaborate with the quality team to minimize defects and improve product reliability.

Customer Focus:


• Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and

expectations.


• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to meet customer delivery timelines

and quality requirements.


• Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.

Preferred candidate profile

Age must be between 40 to 52.

  • Bachelor/ masters degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a

related field.

  • Minimum 20+ years of experience in power cable (LV, HT) manufacturing, with a

strong focus on Lean operations, 5s, and production management.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale manufacturing operations and achieving

production targets.

  • Deep understanding of cable manufacturing processes, including extrusion,

insulation, and armouring etc.

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, Lean

manufacturing, 5s, Time & Motion, productivity enhancement etc.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
