About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy IT Solutions Researcher to identify, evaluate, and recommend IT solutions that align with our business needs and strategic goals. You will conduct market research, analyze emerging technologies, and assess vendor offerings to support decision-making and IT planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on IT products, platforms, and services to identify solutions that meet organizational requirements.
- Analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to inform IT strategy.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities, product features, pricing, and support models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business challenges.
- Prepare detailed reports, comparison matrices, and recommendations for IT leadership.
- Assist in pilot testing and proof-of-concept evaluations of potential solutions.
- Support procurement and vendor negotiation processes with technical insights.
- Maintain an updated repository of IT solutions, market intelligence, and best practices.
- Track and monitor technology adoption trends and assess impacts on existing infrastructure.
- Provide input for IT budgeting and roadmap planning based on research findings.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with vendor management and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or other IT governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and DevOps.
- Experience in pilot testing or proof-of-concept projects.
- Certifications like ITIL Foundation, Certified Business Analyst, or relevant vendor certifications.
