Job DescriptionYour CareerPalo Alto Networks is looking for a Senior Deals Desk Manager to work in and lead the Global Deals Desk team, working on non standard pricing , terms and conditions approvals . This position is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.

Your ImpactThis position calls for someone who possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, learns fast and feels confident in a dynamic environment, where decisions are made under pressure of tight deadlines and inline with set rules of engagement. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. Lead a team of Deal Managers and Deal Analyst covering multiple regions

Review and approve non-standard pricing, terms and conditions

Review will include financial analysis for gross margin, SSE compliance, non standard terms requests

Become an expert on our quoting tool, review and enforce finance and revenue recognition compliance policies

Responsible for liaising with all organizations involved in the approval process (finance, legal, order management, etc.) on behalf of sales. Function as a trusted advisor to field sales on deals

Work with cross-functional stakeholders for decision support on deal solutions

Collaborate with impacted parties to generate acceptable documents to facilitate deal closure

Ensure required approvals, such as discounts and contractual terms, are obtained and clearly documented

Be a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations to understand contract requirements, structure, business terms and identification of potential risks and/or opportunities that can affect performance, growth and strategic positioning

Responsible for adherence to and compliance with policy and procedures

Review Order Forms for accuracy and compliance with internal policies

Evaluate current processes and offer recommendations for areas of improvement

Ensure that all transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines

Complete ad-hoc projects as requiredQualificationsYour Experience Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related desirableA total of 12+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in Deal Management experience in the IT / SaaS Industry with proven track record of being able to to manage permanent high volumes

Minimum 3 years experience in leading and managing a team Proven leadership capability

Experience from working on cross regional deals including US, EMEA and JAPACStrong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to make quick decisions under the pressure of tight deadlines, while remaining diligent and keeping a sound audit record

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving and demanding environment

Ability to collaborate with high-performing internal and outsourced teams

Efficient team player

Intermediate/advanced and G-Suite skills are highly recommended

Additional language skills (e.g French, German, Japanese) are a benefit but not required
