Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our architectural and design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules using Primavera P6. The role involves close coordination with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that design and construction milestones are achieved within time and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to gather schedule data.
  • Prepare baseline schedules, progress updates, and recovery plans as needed.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks.
  • Assist in resource planning, workload analysis, and progress forecasting.
  • Prepare periodic reports (weekly/monthly) for management and clients.
  • Track design submittals, approvals, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Analyze schedule impacts due to design changes or scope variations.
  • Support project management in preparing project presentations and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling (preferably in architectural, engineering, or construction firms).
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of architectural design workflows.
  • Experience in planning design and construction phases.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
