Job Title: Application Engineer
Location: (Gurugram/Hyderabad)
Shift: 12 to 9 pm IST, 5 days WFO
Transport/Meals: Not applicable
Job Type: FT
Job Description: The Application Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, and
troubleshooting of applications within the operational technology environment in accordance with the clients standard application list. This role involves gathering application information, evaluating site applications, and ensuring alignment with current standards. The Application Engineer will also be responsible for installing and configuring security tools and ensuring applications are properly patched and updated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze application information from sites.
- Evaluate site applications for alignment with standards.
- Migrate non-standard applications to standard applications.
- Install and configure security tools.
- Ensure applications are logging to the clients SIEM.
- Remediate vulnerabilities identified by our vulnerability monitoring software.
- Coordinate application-related tasks with other team members.
- Understand network configurations to ensure application integration.
Skills Required:
- Application system deployment and troubleshooting
- Basic Network port knowledge
- Cybersecurity knowledge
- Communication and coordination skills
