Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager of Medical Operations, based in Electronic city,Bengaluru. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day medical operations within the facility, collaborating with medical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and supporting clinical research and medical affairs initiatives. The role will also include coordinating training and development programs for the medical team, managing resources efficiently, and contributing to continuous quality improvement in patient care.

Qualifications


• MHA/ MBA in Hospital Administration with min 5+ years experience in healthcare management.

  • Strong knowledge in Medicine and Medical Affairs to ensure compliance with standards of care and address operational challenges.

Act as Custodian for Clinical protocols at unit level and ensure high standards of patient care,Manage and ensure coordination within medical services to deliver on service quality standards. Monitors clinical and other established indicators to ensure ongoing quality assurance.

  • Proven experience in Training and mentoring medical or healthcare staff to enhance their professional expertise and service delivery.

Responsible for implementation and adherence to SOPs in all Clinical Specialties, conducting regular Medical Audits on an ongoing basis. Strictly adheres to organization's regulations and policies especially those related to infection control, patient safety and JCI/NABH.

Ensure that proper Standard Operative Procedures are in place for the efficient care of patients (Admission, care & Discharge)

Set up & ensure the regular functioning of clinical/ Nonclinical committees, in consultation with the Medical Superintendent, Supports Continuous Quality Improvement and participates and contributes to all the quality assurance activities of the service

  • Familiarity with Clinical Research and Research methodologies for supporting advancements in medical practices and patient care.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a medical degree or healthcare-related qualifications; a master's in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital administration role is preferred.
