Introduction to the RoleWe are seeking a Data Tech Lead with 6–10 years of experience, based in Chennai/Hyderabad (On -site). The role involves leading the design and implementation of modern data platforms, data engineering pipelines, and data lake/warehouse solutions, while providing technical leadership and ensuring best practices in delivery. Accountabilities• Lead the design and implementation of data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehouse/lake solutions.• Provide technical leadership to a team of data engineers, including coding, testing, and deployment best practices.• Collaborate with cross -functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.• Ensure compliance and data security best practices are applied across all projects.• Drive adoption of modern data engineering and cloud -native approaches. Essential Skills / Experience• 6–10 years of experience in data architecture and analytics.• Strong expertise in Databricks for data processing, machine learning, and analytics.• Hands -on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration with Databricks.• Solid background in data engineering concepts, data modelling, and ETL processes.• Advanced SQL for querying, transformation, and analysis.• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.• Strong experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration and scheduling ETL workflows.• Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).• Knowledge of data warehousing and data modelling best practices.• Proficiency with version control systems (Git).• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Desirable Skills / Experience• Relevant Databricks and cloud certifications.• Exposure to advanced analytics and ML pipelines.• Experience mentoring junior engineers in data engineering best practices.Work Environment & Collaboration: We value a hybrid, collaborative environment that encourages shared learning and innovation.
