Job Description

The Manager / Sr. Manager – Memberships & Community is responsible for driving membership sales, ensuring high levels of community engagement, and meeting city-specific sales targets. The role includes leading the local sales and community team, managing client relationships, organizing community events, and developing strategies to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and community team to achieve business goals.

  3. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs.
  4. Foster a positive, engaging, and collaborative community environment.
  5. Address member concerns and resolve team issues in a timely manner.

  6. Community Engagement

  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members and prospects.

  8. Organize and participate in member events to boost engagement.
  9. Gather and analyze member feedback to improve the overall experience.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams for smooth member onboarding and service delivery.

  11. Sales & Lead Generation

  12. Identify, engage, and convert prospects into members.

  13. Conduct club walk-throughs and show-around sessions for potential clients.
  14. Maintain consistent follow-ups with all leads and log all interactions.
  15. Make daily outreach calls and track conversion rates.
  16. Develop and execute innovative strategies for lead generation and member retention.

  17. Strategy Development & Execution

  18. Design and implement sales plans to increase membership acquisition.

  19. Work cross-functionally with internal departments for seamless service.
  20. Leverage member feedback to refine community initiatives.
  21. Build partnerships and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  22. Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

  23. Reporting & Target Achievement

  24. Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets specific to the city.

  25. Track, analyze, and report sales data and KPIs.
  26. Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily, monthly, and annual reporting sheets.

  27. Financial Management

  28. Develop and manage sales budgets while ensuring cost optimization.

  29. Monitor financial performance and provide periodic reports to management.
  30. Identify revenue opportunities through events, upselling, and community initiatives.
  31. Plan and execute promotional campaigns to boost memberships.

Accountability Scope

The role involves responsibilities in a mid-sized full-service business center, which may include food & beverage services, meeting spaces, or event facilities. The Manager is expected to support operational teams to ensure top-tier service delivery and overall business growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in coworking, hospitality, or membership-based industries.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach.

Ability to thrive under pressure and meet targets consistently.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
