Job Profile: Application Engineer Rotating Equipment

  • Engage with internal and external customers for:

  • Application engineering

  • Product recommendations
  • Product development
  • Troubleshooting and failure analysis

  • Quality documentation

  • Lead and monitor technical surveys and support execution of service contracts in the region, including:

  • Mounting

  • Condition monitoring

  • Collaborate with the regional sales team to promote company service products.

  • Coordinate with Regional Managers, Sector Managers, and Product Managers for:

  • New applications

  • New customer acquisition

  • New market development

  • Identify knowledge gaps in the regional team and define actions to enhance engineering competencies.

  • Improve channel partner capabilities for faster and more effective customer response.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education:

    B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering
  • Experience:

    5 to 10 years in maintenance of rotating equipment

  • Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth understanding of:

  • Roller Bearings

  • Taper Roller Bearings

  • Pumps, Compressors, Valves, Seals

  • Strong skills in troubleshooting and failure analysis

  • Preferred:

  • Experience in Application Engineering

  • Exposure to customer-facing technical roles
  • Familiarity with condition monitoring and mounting practices
