Job Title: AutoCAD Designer / EngineerJob Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer/Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD and other relevant tools. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of engineering concepts, design principles, and drafting standards, with the ability to convert conceptual sketches into accurate technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, layouts, and designs based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand design needs.
  • Modify existing drawings and update documentation as per client or project changes.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Conduct site visits (if required) to gather measurements and design data.
  • Maintain organized drawing records and version control.
  • Provide support during project execution by clarifying design details.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and other CAD software (Revit, SolidWorks, etc. is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of drafting standards, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings and construction/production processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Designer/Engineer.
  • Experience in [insert industry – e.g., civil engineering, mechanical design, architecture, MEP, manufacturing, etc.].
  • Knowledge of BIM software (Revit, Navisworks) is an added advantage.
