Role Summary

Aeternus Energy LLP is a technology-driven company delivering integrated energy management solutions across Battery Management Systems (BMS), Solar, Wind, eGrid, and Diesel Generators (DG).

We are seeking a Product Manager to own and lead our customer-facing products, including our Customer Service Portal (CSP) and Mobile Applications. This role blends product ownership, technical depth, and domain expertise in Energy/EMS, requiring the ability to work hands-on with engineering teams while driving strategic product direction.

You will define and execute a cloud-native roadmap, collaborate with developers, designers, and energy partners (including battery manufacturers), and ensure our products deliver scalable, reliable, and intuitive experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision
• Define and execute the roadmap for CSP and Mobile Apps.
• Align product goals with customer needs in EMS, BMS, and Solar solutions.
• Leverage AWS or Azure cloud services (serverless, managed DBs, IoT, AI/ML) for scalable and resilient solutions.
• Technical Product Ownership
• Collaborate with development teams using  (Web) and React Native (Mobile).
• Translate business requirements into technical user stories and product specifications.
• Understand API design, cloud-native backends, and front-end/back-end dependencies.
• Oversee IoT device integrations for real-time energy and battery monitoring.
• Cross-Functional Leadership
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, design, QA, and analysts.
• Act as the primary contact for support, sales, and marketing teams.
• Facilitate collaboration with battery manufacturers and energy partners.
• Data-Driven Product Decisions
• Define and monitor KPIs: CSAT, uptime, ticket deflection, first-contact resolution.
• Use analytics and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Firebase Analytics) to optimize performance.
• Agile Execution
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-impact customer features.
• Customer & Market Research
• Conduct user research and competitor benchmarking.
• Identify pain points, gaps, and opportunities for customer-facing energy solutions.
• Go-to-Market & Adoption
• Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams on adoption and feature rollouts.
• Support smooth launches of new features.
• Jira & Workflow Management
• Utilize Jira daily to manage tasks, create/update user stories, and track risks/issues.
• Navigate complex Jira boards, dashboards, and reports to extract progress insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across Jira tickets.
• Support Agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to workflow optimization.
• Generate reports and dashboards to monitor project health and team velocity.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience
• 3–5 years in Product Management or Technical Product Management.
• Background in software development, SaaS, IoT, or energy solutions (preferred).
• Proven success managing both Web and Mobile products.
• Technical Acumen
• Front-End: Strong knowledge of , JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) is a plus.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, IoT Core, S3) or Azure (Functions, Cosmos DB, IoT Hub, Blob Storage).
• Architecture: Familiar with Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native backends.
• Domain Expertise
• Strong understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS), Solar PV, EMS, and hybrid energy setups.
• Familiarity with customer service portals, help desk tools, or support automation.
