Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to support and manage Akamai Guardicore Micro segmentation solutions The role involves integration assistance and strategic guidance for implementing and maintaining Guardicorebased Zero Trust security across hybrid environments and providing operational support
  • Required Skills Qualifications

    36 years of experience in network security Micro segmentation or Zero Trust architecture
  • Handson experience with Akamai Guardicore similar platforms eg Illumio Cisco Tetration
  • Strong understanding of network protocols firewall rules and traffic flow analysis
  • Experience with virtualization platforms and cloud environments AWS Azure GCP and LinuxWindows systems

    Familiarity with scripting Python PowerShell and REST APIs

    Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skill

Key Responsibilities

Platform Support Operations

Provide L2L3 support for Akamai Guardicore platform components

Onboard new applications into Akamai Guardicore Segmentation

Monitor and maintain the health of Guardicore agents collectors and central management systems

Perform daily operational tasks including policy enforcement troubleshooting and performance tuning

Design implement and manage Microsegmentation policies to reduce lateral movement and enforce least privilege access

Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to define segmentation boundaries and rules

Continuously refine policies based on threat intelligence and business requirements

Leverage Guardicores deep visibility capabilities to monitor traffic flows and detect anomalies

Analyze and respond to security events and alerts generated by the platform

Support integration of Guardicore with SIEM SOAR and other security tools

Assist in automating policy deployment and reporting using Guardicore APIs and scripting

Generate reports for compliance audits and internal reviews

Ensure segmentation policies align with regulatory and organizational standards

Provide input on Zero Trust architecture and futurefocused segmentation strategies

Assist in planning and executing Guardicore deployments across new environments cloud onprem hybrid

Regularly review and audit network segmentation policies to ensure they meet regulatory compliance requirements and best practices

Should be good at troubleshooting the issues

Must have knowledge of incidents service requests change and problem management

Should be flexible to work in 247 working days

Preferred Qualifications

Akamai Guardicore certification or training

Experience with SIEMSOAR integrations

Knowledge of compliance frameworks eg PCIDSS HIPAA ISO 27001
