Job Title: Analyst – ICPMS & HPLC

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Reports To: Lab Manager / HOD

Experience Required: 1–5 years (or as applicable)

Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Analytical Chemist with hands-on expertise in ICP-MS and HPLC. The selected candidate will be responsible for advanced analytical testing, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025:2017 standards, maintaining laboratory documentation, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of analytical instruments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Instrument Operation & Maintenance

  • Independently operate and troubleshoot ICP-MS and HPLC instruments.
  • Perform routine calibration, intermediate checks, and preventive maintenance as per SOPs.
  • Monitor and analyze control charts, resolve deviations, and ensure instrument MOU records are updated.

2. Standard Preparation & Analytical Testing

  • Prepare, standardize, and validate reagents and laboratory standards.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of samples using validated methods.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, STPs (Standard Testing Procedures), MVPs (Method Validation Protocols), and MVRs (Method Validation Reports).
  • Maintain accurate and traceable records of test results, calibration data, and instrument logs as per ISO 17025:2017 requirements.

4. Method Development, Validation & Verification

  • Conduct method development, validation, and verification for new or modified analytical methods.
  • Ensure methods comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

5. Quality Control & Assurance

  • Participate in Proficiency Testing (PT), Inter-Laboratory Comparison (ILC), and Internal Quality Control (IQC) activities.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions based on performance evaluation and audit findings.

6. ISO 17025:2017 Implementation

  • Apply knowledge of ISO 17025:2017 standards in daily operations.
  • Support audits, manage non-conformance investigations, and contribute to continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in ICP-MS and HPLC instrumentation.
  • Solid foundation in analytical chemistry principles.
  • Proficiency in method validation, regulatory documentation, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with quality control tools, statistical techniques, and control chart interpretation.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Competence in laboratory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
