About the Role
The Tableau Data Visualizer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau. This role transforms complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain visually appealing, interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Data Integration: Connect Tableau to various data sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) and ensure data accuracy.
- Data Analysis & Validation: Perform data exploration, cleansing, and validation to maintain integrity.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize dashboards for speed and usability, especially with large datasets.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements from business users and translate them into technical specifications.
- Advanced Features: Implement calculated fields, parameters, sets, and Tableau story points for enhanced analytics.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and ensure data quality in all visualizations.
- User Training & Support: Provide training and documentation for end-users on Tableau functionalities.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Tableau features and best practices to improve reporting capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
o Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
o Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
o Experience with large datasets and performance tuning.
o Optional: Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data manipulation.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear, actionable format.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development and data visualization.
