Job Summary:The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and process improvement to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-process and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and checklists.
  • Identify defects, analyze root causes, and suggest corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, inspection reports, and testing records.
  • Work closely with production and design teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality policies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for material inspection and quality audits.
  • Train and guide production staff on quality parameters and standards.
  • Monitor process performance and suggest process improvements for better quality outcomes.
  • Prepare quality control plans and participate in internal audits.
  • Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of quality inspection methods, tools, and testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, etc.
  • Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Preferred Background:Experience in [specific industry, e.g., garment / fabrication / automotive / machinery manufacturing].
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
