Job Title: Assistant Professor Visiting Faculty – B.Sc. Information Technology
Job Summary:
The Assistant Professor – B.Sc. IT is responsible for teaching undergraduate students in Information Technology, developing curriculum content, guiding practical and project work, and contributing to academic and institutional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach core B.Sc. IT subjects such as:
- Programming (C, C++, Java, Python)
- Data Structures
- Database Management Systems
- Web Technologies
- Operating Systems
- Software Engineering
- Networking and Cyber Security
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, and laboratory manuals
- Conduct theory and practical sessions, including lab supervision
- Design and evaluate assignments, internal assessments, and examinations
- Guide students in mini-projects, major projects, and internships
- Stay updated with emerging IT trends and technologies
- Participate in syllabus development and academic planning
- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and academic documentation
- Support departmental activities, seminars, workshops, and technical events
- Contribute to research, publications, and professional development
- Adhere to institutional and regulatory academic standards
Qualifications & Experience:
- M.Sc. IT / M.Sc. Computer Science / MCA / M.Tech (IT/CS) or equivalent
- NET/SET/PhD as per UGC / University norms (preferred/mandatory as applicable)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹16, ₹40,000.00 per month
