Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an accomplished .NET Lead Engineer with 15+ years of enterprise-level experience in architecting, designing, developing, and modernizing large-scale .NET modern applications. The role demands hands-on technical expertise in .NET 6/7/8/9/.Net Core/Containerization, cloud-native design, migration from legacy platforms to modern .net framework, and cross-platform deployments.

The ideal candidate should have led multiple end-to-end customer implementations, handled application modernization from .NET Framework to .NET Core/.NET 8, and played a key role in defining architectural blueprints, performance tuning, and technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities :

  • 15+ years of hands-on development and architectural experience in Microsoft technology stack.
  • Proven track record in large-scale migration and modernization programs (legacy .NET .NET Core/.NET 8).
  • Experience in front end technologies like Angular/React
  • Experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
  • Strong experience leading customer-facing implementations, from discovery to deployment.
  • Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing .NET-based applications.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles, code reviews, provide mentorship to developers, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Exposure to cross-platform delivery (Windows, Linux, and containers).
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven environments.
  • Integrate applications with cloud services (Azure or AWS) and third-party APIs.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and frameworks to continuously improve system design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues.
  • Prepare architectural documentation, UML diagrams, and design patterns.
  • Work closely with product owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Technical Skills Required :

  • Core Technologies: C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 6/7/8/9/.Net Core, LINQ, Entity Framework Core, Web API, SignalR, Angular/React, Python(Optional)
  • Architecture & Design: Microservices, REST, gRPC, Event-Driven Architecture, DDD, CQRS, Clean Architecture, SOLID Principles
  • Migration & Modernization: .NET Framework .NET Core/.NET 8/9 upgrade strategy, re-platforming, containerization, dependency refactoring. Cross-platform (Windows/Linux/macOS) deployment strategy and performance optimization
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure: App Services, Service Bus, Functions, Key Vault, Application Insights, Azure SQL, API Management. AWS (Optional): ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch
  • DevOps & CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
  • Database: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL (CosmosDB, MongoDB)
  • Frontend (Optional Exposure): Angular, React, or Blazor
  • Monitoring & Security: Application Insights, ELK Stack, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, Azure AD Integration
