Job Details
  • We are looking for a proactive Business Analyst with 3–5 years of experience in eCommerce and web-based projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and support Agile delivery. This role requires strong business acumen, communication skills, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions while managing backlogs, sprints, and UAT activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for eCommerce and web-based projects.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications while maintaining a strong understanding of the end-user journey.
  • Write clear, actionable user stories aligned with Agile methodologies; support grooming sessions with developers and stakeholders.
  • Lead ongoing interactions with business stakeholders across departments (Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, etc.) to capture needs, define solutions, and drive alignment.
  • Track and report on project progress, dependencies, risks, and issues, driving timely resolution.
  • Facilitate regular backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews with the team.
  • Support testing, UAT planning, and release coordination with business teams.
  • Act as a proxy Product Manager for the product/development team – managing and prioritizing the product backlog, identify and mitigate delivery risks; coordinate timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across teams.
SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
  • Business & Product Thinking – Demonstrated ability to align technology solutions with business outcomes. Experience acting as a product owner or in a product management role is a strong plus.
  • Agile Expertise – Strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Able to run Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively with development teams.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management – Exceptional communication skills. Able to translate complex ideas into clear, concise requirements and build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Problem Solving – Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to break down ambiguous problems into structured deliverables.
  • Adaptability & Initiative – Self-starter comfortable operating without a dedicated project manager; able to adapt quickly and wear multiple hats.
  • Collaboration & Influence – Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external consultants. Comfortable influencing without authority.
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce trends, customer experience design and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data flows within eCommerce ecosystems (payments, shipping, CRM, ERP).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Wireframes).
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3–5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Application, Development, or IT Project Management.
  • Experience writing and grooming user stories, creating process flows, and managing backlogs.
  • Bachelor's degree from any discipline.
  • Experience in a global or matrixed organization.
