HSEQ Supervisor

Position: Safety Supervisor

Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Location: Naphtha Crackers PBR Site, Panipat Refinery, Haryana

Reporting To: Mohan Singh ( Residence Construction Manager)

Job Purpose

To assist in implementing and maintaining safety procedures at the Naphtha Crackers PBR Site, ensure compliance with refinery safety standards, and monitor daily site activities to prevent incidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.

Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all workforce at the site.

Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents to the Safety Officer / HSE Manager.

Assist in conducting daily toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.

Maintain safety records, permits, and inspection checklists.

Supervise fire prevention, housekeeping, and confined space activities.

Coordinate with workmen and site engineers to ensure safe work practices.

Support in emergency preparedness and first-aid arrangements as per refinery guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum Graduation )Pass with Diploma in Industrial Safety & Fire Management

Experience: Minimum 2+ Years in refinery / petrochemical / construction safety supervision.

Skills & Competencies

Good observation, communication, and reporting skills.

Strong knowledge of safety tools, PPE, and hazard control.

Ability to handle workers and enforce compliance on site.

Basic computer and documentation skills.
