Cloud Engineer (IBM/Oracle Cloud) - 7 to 12 Yrs Pune/Bangalore

FIS Public Cloud Development is responsible for managing and delivering Cloud services to our internal and external customers. Cloud services are on-demand, scalable, and flexible computing resources that are hosted and operated by our third-party providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure. We enable our enterprise to leverage the benefits of Cloud computing, such as cost-efficiency, agility, scalability, reliability, security, and innovation, while ensuring alignment with the enterprise's strategic goals, policies, standards, and best practices.

• You will be responsible for a multi cloud environment that includes AWS/AZURE/Oracle/IBM with primary focus on IBM Cloud.
• You will be the key individual responsible for development and management of new cloud services on the IBM Cloud Platform.
  • You will be responsible for build, configure, monitor and troubleshoot on IBM Cloud Platform.
• Automate tasks using Shell scripting, PowerShell Python and Ansible.
• You will also be working on networking, and storage technologies in a cloud environment.
• Analyze and debug complex technical issues.
  • Responsible for regular maintenance and pro-active updates/upgrade.
• Understanding of IBM Classic and VPC Cloud Infrastructure and any experience in a hybrid environment with both flavors of cloud is desirable.
• Knowledge of IBM Direct connect for connectivity to other clouds and On Prem.

• Must be a quick learner for anything new that comes up in the Public Cloud domain.
• Excellent knowledge of Public cloud technologies and current computing trends.
• Experience in Public Cloud Platform is a must IBM and Oracle cloud.
• Certifications in IBM Cloud or related technologies (e.g., IBM Certified Solution Advisor Cloud Computing Architecture) are a plus.
• Preferred - Knowledge and understanding of RedHat OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments on IBM Cloud.
• Good knowledge of IBM Cloud Pak technology components including IBM API Connect, App Connect (ACE).
• Knowledge of Operating System - The candidates must have a good understanding of operating systems, such as Linux/AIX and Windows. It is essential to be familiar with the concepts, pros, and cons of the various operating systems.
• Good Understanding of Networking - Having proper knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP, and DNS.
• Security - solid knowledge of vital security concepts, firewall, and other security components.
