About the role

As an articled assistant, you'll be expected to apply theoretical knowledge into practical situations of accounts, audit, taxation, etc. You get to learn not just the traditional practices but also a comprehensive view of the emerging & trending areas of Finance & Compliance.  

Office Location - 15th Cross, Malleshwaram, Bangalore

Responsibilities

MONTHS 0-8

  • Accounting of transactions in QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally

  • Perform various reconciliations such as GST, Bank

  • Vouching & Verification of supporting documents

  • Computation of Income

  • Filing ITRs, ROC Returns and GSTRs

MONTHS 9-15

  • Perform Statutory and Tax audits of SMBs and maintain the related documentation

  • Perform Risk Assessments & Process audits

  • Conduct Valuation, primarily using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method

  • Handle Basic Tax Litigations, including drafting the reply and interacting with tax officers.

MONTHS 16-24

  • Formulate ESOP Policies

  • Assist in Due Diligence

  • Assist in Tax Planning, Structuring & Optimisation

  • Train and Manage team-mates

  • Suggest process improvements - both for Zuna & our clients 

Requirements  

  • Passed both groups of CA (Intermediate) Exams

  • Basic understanding of accounting & taxation

  • Desirous & ability to learn, unlearn & relearn

  • Inclination towards tech. i.e, using new-age software and tools

  • Strong communication & presentation skills

  • Passionate to learn and solve complex problems.
