About the Role:
We are seeking a Network Security Proxy Specialist with 8 years of experience in managing and securing enterprise web traffic using Forcepoint and Bluecoat Proxy solutions. The ideal candidate will also have foundational exposure to Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and demonstrate the ability to support application security initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Forcepoint and Bluecoat Proxy solutions to secure internet access and enforce enterprise security policies.
Configure and maintain proxy rules, SSL interception, authentication mechanisms, and URL filtering for user traffic.
Troubleshoot proxy-related issues, including connectivity, access, and performance optimization.
Integrate proxies with DLP, CAS, SIEM, and identity management solutions to enhance layered security.
Provide L3/L4 technical support for incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
Collaborate with security and application teams on secure web gateway (SWG) policies and traffic monitoring.
Assist in Web Application Firewall (WAF) deployments, rule configuration, and basic tuning for application protection.
Maintain documentation, compliance reports, and security posture dashboards.
Stay updated with cybersecurity trends, proxy technologies, and application-layer threats.

Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience with Forcepoint Proxy and Bluecoat Proxy (Symantec ProxySG/Advanced Secure Gateway).
Strong knowledge of proxy architecture, SSL/TLS inspection, policy management, and content filtering.
Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, VPN) and authentication methods (Kerberos, NTLM, SAML).
Basic experience with Web Application Firewalls (F5 ASM, Imperva, or equivalent) – policy setup, rule creation, and monitoring.
Hands-on experience with incident handling, log analysis, and traffic troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Splunk, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
